150 violations of UN-declared truce recorded in Yemen

SANAA, May 24 (YPA) – The US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition forces and their mercenaries have committed 150 violations of the humanitarian and military truce, the official Yemeni news agency Saba reported on Monday, citing a military source.

According to the military source, 40 armed reconnaissance aircrafts flew over Marib, Taiz Jawf, Hajjah, Saada, Bayda, Dhalea and border fronts.

The source affirmed that new combat fortifications were created in west of Haradh district in Hajjah, south of Al-Shabaka in Al-Malheedh area of Saada and Tabat Al-Difaa of Jizan region.

He also said that 25 violations by an artillery shelling were recorded at the army’s sites in Haradh and Bani Hassan area of Hajjah, Al-Boqaa, Munabih, Al-Muthalath and Al-Malheedh areas of Saada, Al-Balq Al-Sharqi and Malaa of Marib, Al-Dhabab and Jabal Habashi districts of Taiz.

The source pointed out that the mercenaries bombarded the army’s sites in Bab Ghalq area of Dhalea, Najran region, Al-Sayaba and Al-Batool areas of Wadi Jara in Jizan and east of Arf area in Asir border province.

In addition, the source declared that 82 breaches were recorded, with heavy shooting at citizens’ homes and sites of the army and popular committees in Marib, Taiz, Hajjah, Saada, Bayda, Dhalea and border fronts.
