Coalition forces violate UN-brokered armistice 97 times

PROVINCES, April 27 (YPA) – The Saudi-led coalition forces and their mercenaries committed 97 violations of the UN-brokered humanitarian and military truce, during the past 24 hours, A military source reported on Wednesday.

The violations included 36 flights of armed reconnaissance and espionage aircraft in the airspace of the provinces of Marib, Hajjah, Jawf, Saada, and Hodeida, the source explained.

A violation was recorded when the coalition mercenaries carried out an infiltration operation towards the sites of the army and popular committees in Al-Rafsa in Al-Selw district of Taiz province, according to the source.

The source added that the coalition forces committed 11 violations with artillery shelling on the provinces of Marib, Hajjah, Saada, Taiz, and Jawf, and bombed the sites of the army and popular committees in Al-Balaq Al-Sharqi area in Marib and north of Baqem district in Saada.

The coalition mercenaries targeted with artillery shells the sites of the army and the popular committees in Al-Mazraq area and west of Haradh district in Hajjah, Al-Selw district in Taiz, and Al-Jadafer area and Halhalan valley in Jawf.

The source also confirmed that 49 violations by shooting at citizens’ homes and army and popular committee sites were recorded in the provinces of Marib, Taiz, Saada, Jawf, and Dhalea, and the fronts beyond the borders.
