Coalition forces violate humanitarian, military truce 73 times

PROVINCES, April 20 (YPA) – The US-backed Saudi-led coalition forces and their mercenaries committed 73 violations of the UN-announced humanitarian and military truce, during the past 24 hours, a military source reported on Wednesday.

The violations included 59 sorties of armed and spying reconnaissance aircrafts in the airspace of the provinces of Marib, Jawf, Hajjah, Saada, Amran, and Hodeida, and areas beyond the border, according to the source.

The source confirmed that the coalition mercenaries created new combat fortifications in Al-Sad mountain in Harib district of Marib.

He pointed out that six violations with artillery and missile bombardment were recorded in Marib, where the coalition mercenaries fired a Katyusha rocket at the sites of the army and popular committees in Al-Balaq Al-Sharqi area.

The coalition forces targeted, with intensive artillery shelling, the sites of the army and popular committees in Al-Akad area and Al-Balaq Al-Sharqi in Marib and in Al-Malahidh area in Saada province, according to the source.

The source confirmed recording of 16 violations with shooting at the citizens’ houses and the sites of the army and popular committees in the provinces of Marib, Hajjah and Dhalea.
