Civil Aviation Authority: First commercial flight at Sanaa Airport will be next Sunday

SANAA, April 20 (YPA) – The General Authority of Civil Aviation and Meteorology announced on Wednesday that the operation of the first commercial flight to Sanaa International Airport will be next Sunday.

The official spokesman for the Civil Aviation Authority, Dr. Mazen Ghanem, said “The United Nations informed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that it was approved to operate the first commercial flight from Sanaa International Airport to Jordan’s Queen Alia Airport on Sunday, April 24 at 8 am. ”

Ghanem stated that Yemeni airlines will start making reservations for that flight from today, Wednesday, and patients will be given priority.
