Armed men cut off road linking Taiz, Aden

LAHJ, March 29 (YPA) – Armed groups have continue to cut off the road linking Taiz and Aden in Tur Al Baha area in Lahj province, south of Yemen, for the second day in a row.

Local sources in the province said on Tuesday tribal gunmen blocked the road in the Tur al-Baha area, demanding the release of their relatives from the prisons run by the UAE-funded Southern Transitional Council militias in Lahj.

The sources explained that the gunmen prevented the passage of trucks and cars from the area until their relatives be released.

A long queue of dozens of cars and trucks tankers waiting roadside through the in the main raid linking Taiz and Aden.
