Air defenses shoot down US-made spy drone in Marib

SANAA, March 29 (YPA) – Air defenses of the Yemeni army shot down on Tuesday an American-made Scan Eagle spy aircraft in Marib province.

Spokesman for the armed forces, Brigadier General Yahya Sarie, said in a news statement that the air defenses downed the aircraft, while it was carrying out hostile acts in the airspace of Wadi district.

He affirmed that the plane was targeted with a suitable weapon.
