Al-Houthi reveals release of 500 prisoners

SANAA, March 17 (YPA) – Member of the Supreme Political Council, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, revealed on Thursday that nearly 500 prisoners have been released.

This coincides with the continuation of the prisoner release campaign launched before the holy month of Ramadan.

Al-Houthi said in a tweet, the release campaign is still going on at the directives of the attorney general, noting that there are field visits to track the release process.

 

The release comes as translation for Sayyed Abduli-Malik al-Houthi’s orders, ahead of the holy month of Ramadan, which is witnessing solidarity with the prison-disabled.
