OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Feb. 18 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation military acknowledged on Friday that it had failed to bring down the drone it claimed to have entered the occupied Palestinian airspace from Lebanon.
The drone triggered sirens in in parts of the occupied West Bank.
“An explosive-laden drone was observed as entering from the Lebanese airspace, in which interrupting missiles were launched to intercept it but failed to bring it down,” the Zionist occupation military’s spokesman Avichai Adraee claimed.
He added, drones were launched to interrupt it, but the drone has been lost and the military is searching for it,
Adraee noted that a few minutes later, the plane was able to return to Lebanon, stressing that the situation on the home front remained “normal and regular “.
This comes despite activists circulating on Twitter footage that allegedly showed a smoke plume rising above where the plane allegedly crashed after it was shot down.
