ABYAN, Feb. 15 (YPA) – The Saudi-led coalition has failed to release a United Nations worker, who holds the Bulgarian nationality, from the grip of al-Qaeda elements in Abyan province, southern Yemen.
According to media sources, the coalition announced a ransom of one million Saudi riyals in exchange for the release of the head of the United Nations Security Council.
5 UN employees have been abducted by al-Qaeda elements in southern Yemen while returning to Aden after a field delegation.
