Iran condemns attack on Baghdad International Airport

TEHRAN, Jan. 29 (YPA) – Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh on Saturday condemned targeting Baghdad International Airport with rockets, and considered this attack as an attempt to destabilize the security and stability of Iraq.

Such suspicious acts lead to destabilizing security and spreading chaos in Iraq, providing a way for opponents and tension provokers and affecting government services to citizens, said Khatibzadeh in a statement

He also stressed that the Islamic Republic of Iran has always supported establishing thee security in Iraq, its progress and development, and supports the Iraqi government’s measures to establish security and stability in the country.
