Sanaa forces seize strategic Saudi positions in Najran

NAJRAN, Jan. 03 (YPA) – The Yemeni army backed by popular committees (Sanaa forces) on Sunday achieved new filed victories at the expanse of the Saudi-led coalition recruits and Sudanese mercenaries on the Yemeni-Saudi border.

Informed sources said that the Sanaa forces launched a large-scale military attack on the coalition forces’ sites in Al-Ajasher desert and the Saudi forces on the fronts beyond the border.

After fierce battles, Sanaa forces managed to control the strategic Al-Qahira and Al-Mohor mountains in Najran region, in the south of the kingdom.

This progress came hours after the Sanaa forces took control of the “Taiba” camp in Al-Ajasher desert separating Jawf province and the southern borders of the Kingdom.

The sources confirmed that the Sanaa forces seized huge military equipment that was stored inside the sites they controlled, especially in the “Taiba” camp in the Al-Ajasher desert.
