White House announces phone call between Putin, Biden on Thursday

SANAA, Dec. 30 (YPA) – Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Joe Biden plan to make a phone call on  Thursday at 23:30 Moscow time, the White House said.

“The President will make a phone call at 15:30 (23:30 Moscow time) with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin to discuss a range of topics, including future diplomatic relations with Russia,” the White House said in a statement.

Earlier on Wednesday, Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed that a telephone conversation was planned between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his US counterpart Joe Biden.

“A telephone conversation between Putin and the US president is already scheduled for late tomorrow evening,” Peskov said Wednesday evening.
