TAIZ, Dec. 27 (YPA) – The Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation condemned Saudi-led coalition bombing airstrikes on Taiz province, which resulted the injury of seven citizens, including the engineer Shihab Ali Abdul Alim al-A’alimi one of the ministry’s office cadres.
In a statement received by the Saba News Agency, the ministry said the targeting of the agricultural cadres was a flagrant violation of international laws and conventions, norms and human values.
The statement held the United Nations Security Council, the United Nations and international organizations responsible for not addressing violations of aggression and war crimes against humanity.
The statement appealed to the international community to define its position on the crimes of aggression against civilians and civilian objects and to respond firmly to the perpetrators.
It warned against the continuation of the US-backed Saudi-led coalition’s crimes, the destruction of the agricultural sector, which provides jobs for the majority of the population, especially in rural areas.
The statement called on humanitarian and human rights organizations to document the Saudi-led coalition forces crimes in order to prosecute them .
