US records First death case of Omicron COVID-19 variant

SANAA, Dec. 21 (YPA) – US has recorded the first death case  of Omicron COVID-19 variant , media reported, citing Texas health officials.

ABC reported on Monday night that it was believed to be Omicron first recorded death in the United States.

The United States announced the first case of the new Corona strain Omicron in just three weeks.

The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimated On Monday that from December 3 to 18, the new Corona strain Omicron is prevalent in the United States, accounting for 73% of cases.

The US centers confirmed that Omicron had been discovered in all but two states (Oklahoma and North Dakota).
