Child injured due to cluster bomb blast in Hajjah

HAJJAH, Dec. 11 (YPA) – A Child  was wounded on Saturday in an explosion of a cluster bomb dropped by Saudi-led coalition warplanes earlier on al-Jarr area of Abbs  district in Yemen’s northwest province of Hajjah , a local official told Yemen Press Agency.

The child Nasser Qahtan has suffered fatal injures due to the blast, which led to the amputation of one of his hand and foot, the official said.

It is worth mentioning that Saudi-led coalition forces have being using various type of bombs, including the internationally-banned cluster bombs, Since March 2015, to attack Yemen’s northern border provinces of Saada and Hajjah.
