JAWF, June 12 (YPA) – The coalition-backed militias on Thursday shelled civilians’ homes by artillery in Mutun district of Jawf province, a local official told Yemen Press Agency.
The shelling came after the Yemen army controlled Mutun district since three days, the officla added.
The official said that the artillery shelling injured a woman and amputated her leg.
Meanwhile, the Yemen army carried out an offensive operation on militias’ sites in Jarshub area, burning a machine gun rate of 14.5, killing and wounding dozens.
The coalition militias tried to sink up toward the site which the army controlled in Mazwia area but the army repelled them, inflicting the militias heavy losses in lives and equipment.
