Demonstrators protest against currency collapse, high prices in Lahj

LAHJ, Oct. 17 (YPA) – The occupied Lahj province witnessed on Sunday angry protests in its cities against currency collapse and high prices.

According to informed source, the protesters closed shopping centers, and blocked main roads and streets in al-Hota city.

The demonstrators also burned tires until the smoke covered Al-Anad city sky, forcing the citizens to close their stores, while main road was blocked for hours, the source added.
