Quds, Oct. 13 (YPA) – Zionist settlers stormed the courtyards of the Holy Al-Aqsa Mosque on Wednesday under a heavy protection of occupation police.
According to Palestinian sources, quoting eyewitnesses, settlers in the form of groups through Bab al-Mughraba, carried out provocative tours of its courtyards and performed silent prayers in the eastern part of the city.
Late last night, the occupying forces continued to tighten movement of the citizens in the vicinity of Bab al-Amud and Salah al-Din Street in al-Quds, pursuing young men, arresting a number of them and targeting them with gas and sound bombs.
The Old City of al-Quds has been witnessing tight security measures imposed by the occupation forces against citizens and worshippers in Al-Aqsa.
