SHABWA, Sept. 22 (YPA) – Several civil and military leaders loyal to the Saudi-led coalition have left Ataq city, the capital of shabwa province, in eastern Yemen.
According to local sources said, “several luxury cars accompanied by military vehicles were seen leaving Ataq city towards the International Cross Road,” suggesting that they are belonging to Islah Party.
This came after the Yemeni army forces took control of the center of Bayhan district on Tuesday, in support of the Shabwa tribesmen, that the army signed agreements with to secure their areas.
The sons of the Shabwa tribes played a major role in liberating their areas from the control of the coalition’s hands and the Islah militias in the Bayhan district and large parts of Markah Al-Olaya.
