Al-Qaeda elements spread largely in Mocha city of Taiz

TAIZ, Sept. 22 (YPA) – Large numbers of Al-Qaeda organization members wearing Afghan uniforms have been brought to the camps of militia loyal to the Emirati forces in the coastal city of Mocha, west of Taiz province, local sources said on Wednesday.

Eyewitnesses stated that al-Qaeda militants were seen a few days ago in several markets in the city of Mocha.

The sources and eyewitnesses indicated that fear began to prevail among the city’s residents.

The residents began to leave the city of Mocha towards areas in the neighboring provinces of Taiz and Hodeida, eyewitnesses confirmed.
