Trump, Obama face murder charges in Iranian court

TEHRAN, Sept. 18 (YPA) – An Iranian court has indicted 37 American figures, including former presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump, in the case of the killing of Iranian scientists between the years 2010 and 2012.

Among the indicted figures is former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and US entities, including the Department of Defense and the Federal Bank.

The US authorities were informed of the indictment through the Iranian Interests Section in Washington.

The Iranian Court’s judge Salman Pour Maridi said: “No courts have been set up in the world to convict the crimes of the United States, while the United States and a number of its courts have issued rulings against Iran and Iranian citizens and frozen Iranian assets.”

He added that his is the only court in Iran that has powers to hear cases of international dimensions.

“We are trying to condemn the American authorities, and we consider Israel to be an arm of the United States in the region, and since we do not officially recognize this usurping entity, we did not mention it in the indictment,” he said.
