Army takes control over strategic areas in Marib

MARIB, Sept. 18 (YPA) – The Yemeni army forces managed on Saturday to control over strategic areas of Marib city, According to sources.

The sources said the army could able to impose full control over “Nakhla” valley after fierce battles with the Saudi-led coalition forces and al-Qaeda elements in the city.

After the control of Nakhla area, the army reinforced its forces in the area, in preparation for any attacks that the coalition forces and Al-Qaeda might launch in the coming days.
