Several Palestinians suffocated in confrontations with Israeli occupation forces in Jenin

JENIN, Sept. 17 (YPA) – A number of Palestinian citizens suffocated, including a 4-month-old baby, during confrontations Thursday evening with the Israeli occupation forces after the latter stormed the town of Ya’bad, southwest of Jenin.

“Palestine Today” agency quoted local sources as saying that the occupation forces stormed the town, and raided and searched a number of homes of citizens in the Abu Shamla neighborhood.

The sources indicated that confrontations erupted between Palestinian youths and the occupation forces, who fired stun grenades and tear gas at them, and towards the homes of citizens, causing many of them to suffocate, including the infant Sila Sami Abu Bakr, who was taken by the Red Crescent ambulance crews to the medical center in the town.
