Coalition warplanes bomb Hadi’s forces gathering in Marib

MARIB, Sept. 08 (YPA) – Saudi-led coalition warplanes on Wednesday  launched bombing on Hadi’s forces in Marib province in eastern Yemen.

This was reported by Yemen News Portal, based on local sources.

According to the local sources, the  coalition warplanes conducted an airstrike  on a military gathering of Hadi forces in the area of “ Hamat al-The’ab”  northwest of Marib.

The airstrike left many dead and wounded, one of the sources said, adding that the coalition justified the bombing as a result of a mistake.

In the same vein, coalition warplanes carried out 27 raids on Sirwah district west of Marib and three raids on the district of Medgal in the north.

The coalition stepped up its raids on Marib to support Hadi’s forces, which collapsed due to the continued pressure of Yemeni army and popular committees  forces, which enabled them to make large advances from several axes towards Marib city.
