Over 19,000 damaged household gas cylinders replaced within 2021: Gas Company

SANAA, Sept. 03 (YPA) – The Yemen Gas Company has managed to maintain and replace over 19,253 damaged household gas cylinders within the first half of this year.
The company in its reports said the operation targeted the capital Sanaa and the provinces of Sanaa, Hodeida, Dhamar and Amran.

In 2019, the company resumed maintenance and replacement work for damaged cylinders, after stopping maintenance for more than five years.

The report confirmed that the company would continue, during the next three months of the year 2021, to replace the damaged gas cylinders and withdraw the damaged ones from the citizens, through the company’s representatives, according to a mechanism that guarantees the withdrawal of all damaged cylinders that pose a danger to citizens.

It indicated that the company is seeking to replace and maintain about 11,900 cylinders during the last quarter of this year.
