Zionist settlers storm Al-Aqsa courtyards

QUDS, Aug. 30 (YPA) – Dozens of Zionist settlers stormed the courtyards of the Holy Al-Aqsa Mosque under heavy  protection of the occupation  enemy forces.

According to Palestinian sources,  the Zionist settlers broke into al-Aqsa courtyards, in groups, and carried out provocative tours, concentrated in the eastern area of the mosque and near the Bab al-Rahma chapel.

In provocative actions, and in a new violation, settlers broke into the chapels of the Al-Aqsa Mosque without regard to the sanctity of the mosque and the feelings of Muslims.

The incursions take place on two morning periods, and after noon prayers through the Moroccan Gate (Bab al-Magharib) in the Western Wall of Al-Aqsa, protected and escorted by the occupying forces, as part of periodic tours aimed at changing the reality in the Holy City and the Blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.

During the period of incursions, the occupying forces evacuated the eastern area of the mosque from worshippers, in order to facilitate the incursion of settlers.

The occupation targets Jerusalemites through arrests, deportations and fines, with the aim of keeping them away from the Al-Aqsa Mosque and leaving it up to settlement ambitions.
