SANAA, Aug. 19 (YPA) – Former US President Donald Trump called the fugitive ex-president of Afghanistan Ashraf Ghani a “fraudster”.
Donald Trump made such a statement in an interview with Newsmax TV. He admitted that he had always considered the Afghan leader as such.
“He was a fraud, and now, I believe, he left with a lot of money. I said that he is not a leader, that he will run away earlier than the last (American) soldiers, “ Trump said.
He noted that this is exactly what happened in the end.
Earlier, First Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman said that the United States no longer considers Ghani a political figure in Afghanistan.
Ghani, a former US citizen, attributed his departure from Afghanistan, where the Taliban seized power, to his desire to avoid bloodshed.
