Telecommunications Minister confirms keenness to implement national vision plans in telecom sector

SANAA, Aug. 08 (YPA) – The Minister of Telecommunications and Information Technology, Mesfer Al-Numeir, on Sunday confirmed the keenness to implement the plans and programs of the national vision to build the modern Yemeni state in the telecommunications and information technology sector.

Al-Numeir indicated in a meeting, which included the creativity, innovation, knowledge and scientific research team for preparing the second interim plan for the national vision, that the vision is one of the fruits of the martyr President Saleh Al-Sammad and the martyrs who sacrificed their lives to build the Yemeni state and achieve the goals of the September 21 revolution.

He considered the National Vision project an ambitious and vital step, despite the obstacles of aggression and siege, noting that the Telecommunications Ministry’s plans in developing the telecommunications sector in Yemen aim to achieve comprehensive development.

At the meeting, Al-Numeir pointed out that the ministry is working on reformulating the Telecommunications Law and submitting it to the Council of Ministers.
