Revenue spark infighting among Islah leaders in Shabwa

SHABWA, Aug. 08 (YPA) – An infighting broke out among the Saudi-backed Islah Party leaders due to revenue and managing the local authority of Shabwa province, sources said.

The sources confirmed that the commander of the so-called “Special Forces”, affiliated with Islah, Abed Rabbo Lakab, is seeking to remove the Shabwa security director, Awad al-Dahbul, from his position.

The sources indicated that Lakab is exerting pressure to overthrow al-Dahbol, following disputes erupted between them because of appointments in the province.
