Islah militia kidnap merchant in Taiz

TAIZ, Aug. 07 (YPA) – An armed group affiliated with the Islah Party militia loyal to Saudi-led coalition kidnapped a merchant in Taiz city, southwest Yemen, local sources said on Saturday.

The sources confirmed that the merchant “Hisham Abdulsalam Al-Zuraiqi” was kidnapped yesterday evening, Friday, by an armed gang led by Shawqi Al-Mikhlafi, brother of Brotherhood leader Hammoud Al-Mikhlafi, from the center of the city of Taiz, after attacking his shop.

The kidnapping of the merchant Al-Zuraiqi is the second time in two months, the sources added.
