Meteorology expects uneven rains to continue in coming hours

SANAA, Aug. 01 (YPA) – The National Center Meteorology expected uneven rains to continue on most the Yemeni provinces within the coming 24 hours.

The center affirmed in its weather forecast that moderate to heavy rains accompanied by thunderstorms would be likely on the mountainous heights in the provinces of Taiz and Lahj, Hajjah, Hodeida and Saada.

It also expected that heavy fog would be formed on the western mountain slopes, especially in the provinces of Hajjah, -Mahweet, Rayma, Ibb, Taiz and Lahj.

The center warned citizens in areas where rain expected to avoid being in valleys and waterways, in additional to motorists to drive carefully in mountain roads due to a decrease in horizontal visibility.
