Vehicle Importers syndicate denounces Hadi gov’t’s decision to raise Aden Customs
SANAA, Jul. 29 (YPA) – A Syndicate of Dealers and Importers of Used Cars and Vehicles denounces on Thursday the decision issued by the Saudi-backed Hadi government to raise customs in Aden port, south of Yemen.
The Syndicate announced in a statement it would make a comprehensive and open strike to protest against the Hadi decision to raise the value of the dollar price for customs from 250 to 500 riyals.
The statement, described the decision as catastrophic and unfair, stressing that its repercussions would be a fatal blow to the Yemeni people living in the worst humanitarian crisis in the world.
It called on the “Hadi government” to cancel the decision urgently and without delay.
