SANAA, Jul. 27 (YPA) – Al-Fateh Alliance in Iraq welcomed the Iraqi negotiator’s agreement on the exit of combat forces from Iraq.
The coalition said in a statement, “We welcome the achievement of the Iraqi negotiator by agreeing to the complete exit of combat forces at the end of this year, which is a positive and advanced step towards achieving full national sovereignty.”
The coalition expressed its hope that “the concerned officials in the Iraqi state will follow up on the implementation of what was agreed upon in a practical way, and all thanks and appreciation to the Iraqi negotiator for this national achievement.”
On Monday, Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi met with US President Joe Biden, and they discussed several areas, including emphasizing the absence of combat forces by December 31, 2021.
