Riyadh, London discuss ways to enhance security cooperation

LONDON, July 23 (YPA) – Saudi Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef and his British counterpart, Yvette Cooper, signed on Tuesday a number of new security agreements in the British capital London.

During a meeting of the Joint Security Council, the officials affirmed that the agreements came within the framework of the Joint Security Cooperation Program (JPO) between the two countries.

The agreements were signed during a bilateral meeting held under the direction of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, where the two sides discussed ways to enhance security cooperation.

In a post on the X, the Saudi Interior Minister confirmed that the meeting addressed a number of issues on the agenda.
