US interference in Lebanon undermines its stability: Iranian FM

SANAA, Jul. 12 (YPA) – The Iranian Foreign Ministry considered on Monday that foreign and US interference in Lebanon would complicate the situation and undermine its stability.

The ministry said in a statement that the formation of the Lebanese government is an internal Lebanese affair, adding that Tehran does not interfere and respects any decision taken by the Lebanese in this regard.

The statement affirmed Lebanon is a sovereign country and has an elected president and parliament to solve problems of their country.
