Saudi Arabia is on cusp of recording half million cases of Corona

RIYADH, Jul. 03 (YPA) – Saudi Arabia is on the cusp of reaching half a million infections with the Corona virus, since the beginning of the pandemic and its announcement on March 2, 2020 that the first infection was recorded for a citizen coming from Iran.

According to the latest Corona figures in the Kingdom announced by the Ministry of Health on Friday, the total number of infected cases reached 490,464 cases, and 7,848 deaths.

The ministry also revealed that the number of active cases reached 12,174, in addition to 1,389 critical cases.

In a related context, the number of Corona vaccine doses has exceeded 18 million doses so far, which were administered through more than 587 vaccination sites in all regions of the Kingdom.
