Dhamar governor warns against random drilling of water wells

DHAMAR, Jun. 23 (YPA) – Dhamar governor, Mohammed Al-Bakhaiti, stressed the importance of preserving groundwater, warning random drilling of wells, and managing water resources efficiently.

This came in his weekly meeting held on Wednesday to discuss the mechanism for improving the performance of the Public Authority for Water Resources Branch.

Al-Bakhaiti affirmed that strict measures would be taken towards random digging to guarantee the limitation of groundwater depletion.
