STC kidnaps mosque imam in Aden

ADEN, Jun. 23 (YPA) – Militants affiliated with the UAE-funded Southern Transitional Council (STC) carried out on Wednesday a campaign of raids in the city of Aden, southern Yemen, arresting a mosque imam and several citizens.

Local sources said that armed elements raided a number of houses in “Mansoura” district, including the house of the imam of the Othman bin Affan mosque, “Abdullah Al-Sallal”, and took him with others to an unknown destination.

The sources added that similar raids were seen in “Dar Saad” district in the same city, without a full statistic about all those kidnapped.
