Violent clashes erupt between members of STC militia in Aden

ADEN, Jun. 23 (YPA) – Violent clashes erupted on Wednesday evening in Sheikh Othman district in the center of Aden city, southern Yemen.

Eyewitnesses reported that armed clashes erupted between gunmen of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militia, in which various types of weapons were used, in the areas between Sheikh Othman area and Abdulqawi intersection.

The reasons for the clashes are not yet known.
