SANAA, Jun. 15 (YPA) – March of Flags is a Zionist march in which thousands of settlers and extremists take part in the neighborhoods of occupied al-Qds (Jerusalem) and interspersed with insults against Islam, the Prophet, God, Palestinians and Arabs.
The march starts in western occupied Jerusalem and roams the neighborhoods of the Old City, inhabited by Arabs and Muslims and interspersed with attacks on Palestinians, their shops and homes.
In 1974, Zionist settlers began organizing the “March of Flags” in the occupied city of Jerusalem, annually, to commemorate the occupation of the remaining neighborhoods of the city during the June 1967 war.
The author of the idea of organizing the “March of Flags” is the settler Yehuda Hazani, a symbol of the Zionist religious movement, and a supporter of settlement in al-Quds and the West Bank.
Hazani is one of the founders of the Gush Emonim settlement movement and has been active in the United States of America to attract young Jews to serve in the occupation army, in cooperation with generals from religious Zionism.
After Hazani’s death in July 1992, the march became an annual tradition of memorialization and contributions to settlement support and religious Zionism.
