Protesters block roads in Mukalla

HADHRAMAUT, Jun. 08 (YPA) – Angry protesters have on Monday blocked a major roads in Mukalla, the capital of Yemen’s southern Hadhramaut province, in protest against ongoing power outages.

Local sources said that a security force suppressed the protesters and fired live bullets, leaving several protesters wounded

The protesters also stormed and set fire to the headquarters of Radio Mukalla.

Hadhramaut has been  experiencing continuous power outages as Hadi’s government fails to resolve the electricity crisis.
