PM confirms state’s keenness on enhancing roles of private sector

SANAA, Jun. 06 (YPA) – Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor confirmed on Sunday that the state’s leadership is keen to enhance and develop the important roles of the private sector and expand the volume of its commercial and investment activities.

During his meeting with a number of businessmen headed by Acting President of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the capital Sanaa Hassan Al-Kbous, Dr. bin Habtoor said that the government is working on strengthening relations with the private sector, support its new investment projects, and address any difficulties or problems it may encounter.

The meeting discussed the activity of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce during the current period and its efforts to strengthen partnership relations between the private sector and relevant government agencies.

The meeting also touched on the new investment projects of the private sector.
