Egypt accuses Israeli entity of delaying to achieve prisoner deal with Hamas

SANAA, Jun 6 (YPA) – Egypt has accused Israeli entity of procrastinating in reaching a prisoner exchange deal with the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, according to Hebrew newspapers.

The newspaper, “Israel Today”, said on Sunday that Egypt believes that there is no real progress in any of the files, and that there is clear Israeli procrastination.

The newspaper commented, “No Israeli official is able to take any decision, so everything is expected.”

It added, “Since the ceasefire was declared, progress has been non-existent, as the political situation in Israel does not calm down, and there is no one to take a decisive decision,” referring to Israel’s delay in indirect contacts with “Hamas” mediated by Egyptian General Intelligence.

Last month, Egypt invited the Israeli entity’s government and Hamas movement to start negotiations sponsored by Cairo; To conclude a prisoner exchange deal between the two sides.
