Several citizens killed, wounded in clashes among Islah militias, Laqmosh tribes in Shabwa

SHABWA, May 27 (YPA) – Several citizens were killed on Thursday and others wounded in clashes among special security forces loyal to Islah party and Laqamoush tribes in Haban district of Shabwa province, local sources told Yemen Press Agency.

The sources mentioned that Islah militants imposed a suffocating siege on the villages of the Khubar Laqamoush district, located on the line connecting Shabwa and Abyan province and established military checkpoints to prevent movement of citizens.

The sources pointed out that the confrontations broke out using various weapons.
