MARIB, May 24 (YPA) – A senior commander loyal to the Saudi-led coalition was killed on Monday in Marib province, according to local sources.
The sources said that leader of the special tasks of the Saudi-backed Islah Party, Mohammed Hamad Dahnan, was targeted battles taking place between the Yemeni army and the coalition forces in the city of Marib.
According to the sources, Dahnan was killed during unsuccessful attempts waged by the coalition forces to regain the sites they lost in the desert separating the province of Marib and Jawf.
