Several militants killed in infighting among STC factions

ADEN, May 24 (YPA) – Several militants were killed on Monday in infighting erupted among the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s factions in the city of Aden, southern Yemen.

According to sources, the military confrontations renewed between the so-called Al-Asifah faction led by Osan Al-Anashli, and the emergency commander in Aden security forces led by Mohammed Amer bin Shuja.

The sources confirmed that the main cause to break out the confrontations was a land dispute.

Aden city is experiencing security chaos and intermittent confrontations between the armed factions of the STC militias.
