Angry demonstration held in Mukalla against “Hadi’s government”
MUKALLA, May 24 (YPA) – Dozens of citizens demonstrated on Monday in Mukalla city, the capital of Hadramout province, eastern Yemen in protest of the power cuts, the deterioration of community services, and the “Hadi government’s” lack of attention.
The protesters blocked some of the main roads in the city with stones and torched tires to express their anger. They vowed to expand their protests if the “Hadi government” continues to fail to perform its duties and provide services.
The southern Yemeni governorates are witnessing a state of widespread discontent among citizens as a result of the lack of services and the economic deterioration.
