Oil spill mixes with drinking water in Shabwa

SHABWA, April 28 (YPA) – Al-Rawdha area of Shabwa province witnessed on Wednesday new oil spill over the past hours, local sources told Yemen Press Agency.

The sources said that the oil pipeline witnessed a large leakage of crude oil, and its mixing with citizens’ drinking and irrigation water.

The spill of crude oil into the citizens’ farms heralds an environmental and health disaster, amid Islah authorities ignoring the maintenance of the pipeline.
