3 pro-coalition military commanders killed in Marib

MARIB, April 06 (YPA) – More than 130 recruits in the ranks of the Saudi-led coalition forces were killed and injured, including three military leaders, during the battles taking place in the northern city of Marib on Tuesday, well-informed sources reported.

The sources said that the coalition forces backed by Al-Qaeda organization militants have suffered heavy losses in lives and gear as a result of the recent battles against the Yemeni army forces and the popular committees (Sanaa forces) in ‘Al-Khushr’ mountains range and in Nakhla Valley, north of Marib city.

Among the coalition forces commanders killed in those battles are Brigadier General Yusef Mahdi al-Badaji, commander of the artillery battalion in the so-called “107th Infantry Brigade”, and Jawf militia leaders Abdullah Aziz Sharyan and Mohammed Talib al-Makki, according to the sources.

The sources indicated that ambulances are still transporting the dead and wounded of the coalition recruits to the main hospital in Marib city.
