Marib witnesses severe crisis in oil derivatives

MARIB, March 30 (YPA) – Yemen’s oil-rich province of Marib, eastern the capital Sanaa, on Tuesday witnessed a severe crisis in oil derivatives that began two days ago.

Since early morning, the fuel stations in Marib witnessed long lines up of cars waiting for their turn to be supplied with gasoline.

Residents confirmed that the province is experiencing a crisis in domestic gas and petrol because the local authority controlled by the Islah party withdrew large quantities of oil products to cover the needs of its militias on many fronts of the province after Saudi Arabia cut off the fuel supply to its forces.
